Hua Jing Activated Carbon was established in 1997, with a registered capital of 118 million yuan, covering an area of 158 acres, and a total investment of 580 million yuan. It currently has 16 activation furnaces and 8 gasification furnaces, generating 5 megawatts of electricity annually, heating 3 million square meters, and producing 30,000 tons of activated carbon and 20,000 tons of carbon-based fertilizer annually. It is the world's first demonstration enterprise to achieve multi-production of carbon, electricity, heat, and fertilizer.
The products are widely used in the purification of pure water, high-purity water, tap water, alcoholic beverages, monosodium glutamate, beverages, food, medicine, sugar, gold extraction, solvent recovery, petrochemical decolorization and purification, wastewater treatment, waste incineration, and air purification in both civilian and military fields.
The company has always adhered to technological innovation, successively establishing academician workstations at Nanjing Forestry University, Shenyang Agricultural University, and the Chinese Academy of Forestry Sciences; establishing the National Engineering Research Center for Biomass Multi-Production Technology under the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, and the Hebei Biomass Gasification Industry Technology Research Institute; it has won multiple awards including the first prize of the "Liang Xi Forestry Science and Technology Award" from the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, and the "China Forestry Industry Innovation Award"; and holds more than thirty national patents.
The company has been awarded multiple honors including National Key Leading Enterprises in Forestry, National Standardization Demonstration Enterprises in Forestry, Hebei High-tech Enterprises, Hebei Key Leading Enterprises in Agricultural Industrialization, Hebei "Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative" Demonstration Enterprises, Hebei Quality and Efficiency Advanced Enterprises, and Hebei Enterprise Technology Center.
